THE STUDIO

Workshops take place in my home studio near Petersfield - a quiet, fully equipped space designed for focused, friendly learning.

The studio sits within the South Downs National Park, in Hampshire, and is easy to reach by road or rail, with links via the A3, M27, and trains to Petersfield or Havant.

THE WORKSHOPS

Have you ever wondered what makes a good longarm quilter?

After more than 25 years at the frame, I’ve learned that it isn’t about stitching the most complicated design. It’s about reading the quilt, trusting your instincts and choosing something that feels right - for both you and the quilt.

In my workshops, we focus on:

  • Reading the quilt and understanding what it needs

  • Choosing designs that suit your current skill level

  • Growing confidence with every quilt you finish

My workshops are grouped to help you find what feels right for you, right now. Whether you’re just starting out, building confidence, or exploring something more specific, each one is hands-on, supportive and rooted in real studio practice.
